1. Agreement to these Terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) form an agreement between you and Healami, operated by Marie Preston (“Healami,” “Marie Preston,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). They apply when you access or use our websites, landing pages, forms, newsletters, launch lists, communications, downloads, or digital products (collectively, the “Services”).

By using the Services, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Services or submit a form.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority where you live, to make a purchase. Newsletter and waitlist services are intended for people aged 16 and older. If you are under the applicable age, you may use the Services only with permission and supervision from a parent or legal guardian where legally permitted.

You represent that information you provide is accurate and that you have authority to use the email address or other contact information submitted.

3. Description of the Services

Our Services may include:

• the Ancient Korean Wisdom private launch list and related newsletters;
• educational content about Korean and wider Asian wellness traditions;
• information about upcoming books, recipes, remedies, routines, and digital resources;
• customer support and launch communications; and
• future digital products, downloads, or other offers.

We may improve, update, suspend, or discontinue features. We do not guarantee that every announced or planned feature, publication date, page count, topic, price, or product detail will remain unchanged before a product is offered for purchase.

4. Private launch list and early-access pricing

Joining the Ancient Korean Wisdom private launch list is free. It does not constitute a purchase, deposit, reservation, preorder, or obligation to buy.

Private-list members are intended to receive:

• notification when the completed digital guide becomes available;
• occasional project updates and related wellness education; and
• a special early-access offer at a substantially lower price than the later public price.

The exact early-access price, public price, currency, eligibility, availability period, and purchase instructions will be disclosed in the launch email or checkout page. Unless stated otherwise in that offer, an early-access invitation is personal, time-limited, non-transferable, and subject to availability. Joining the list does not guarantee access if an address is invalid, an email is blocked, the recipient has unsubscribed, or technical or legal restrictions prevent delivery.

5. Email communications

When you actively consent to marketing, you authorise Marie Preston and Healami to send emails about the book, private-list offer, launch, related wellness education, and relevant products or services. Consent is voluntary and is not a condition of joining where applicable law requires separate choices.

You may unsubscribe from marketing at any time using the link in an email or by contacting [email protected]. Unsubscribing does not prevent necessary responses, purchase confirmations, requested downloads, security messages, or other non-marketing communications.

You are responsible for keeping your email address accurate and checking spam, promotions, or filtered folders.

6. Wellness and medical disclaimer

The Services provide general educational and informational content only. They are not medical advice and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or medical condition. They do not create a healthcare professional-patient relationship.

Traditional practices, recipes, herbs, foods, supplements, and wellness routines can affect people differently and may involve allergies, sensitivities, medication interactions, pregnancy considerations, or other risks. Consult a qualified healthcare professional before acting on wellness information if you are pregnant, nursing, taking medication, preparing for surgery, managing a medical condition, or uncertain whether an ingredient or practice is appropriate for you.

Do not delay or disregard professional medical advice because of content in the Services. Seek urgent medical assistance for emergencies or serious symptoms.

7. Future purchases and digital products

When products become available, additional terms shown on the product page or checkout may apply, including price, currency, taxes, payment, licence, delivery, refund eligibility, and technical requirements. Those disclosed terms form part of your purchase agreement.

You are responsible for providing accurate billing and delivery information. Payment may be processed by third-party payment providers under their terms. We may refuse or cancel transactions affected by suspected fraud, pricing mistakes, technical errors, sanctions, legal restrictions, or unavailable inventory, with any required refund provided.

Digital files are licensed for personal, non-commercial use unless expressly stated otherwise. You may not resell, publicly distribute, upload, reproduce for others, or use a digital product to create a competing product.

8. Intellectual property

The Services, including text, recipes, presentation, photographs, illustrations, logos, graphics, videos, downloads, page designs, and branding, are owned by or licensed to Healami and Marie Preston and are protected by intellectual-property laws.

We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to access the Services for personal, lawful use. No ownership rights are transferred. You may share a normal link to a public webpage, but you may not copy substantial content, remove notices, frame the Services, scrape data, train commercial systems on protected content, or exploit our work without written permission.

9. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the Services unlawfully, fraudulently, or to harm another person;
• submit information you do not have permission to provide;
• interfere with security, availability, forms, email systems, or other users;
• introduce malicious code or attempt unauthorised access;
• impersonate another person or misrepresent affiliation;
• automatically scrape, harvest, or copy content or contact information; or
• use the Services to send spam or violate another person’s privacy or intellectual-property rights.

10. Third-party services and links

The Services may depend on or link to third-party providers, including GoHighLevel, LeadConnector, hosting services, email providers, analytics tools, payment processors, and social platforms. Third-party services are governed by their own terms and policies. We do not control and are not responsible for unrelated third-party content, availability, security, or practices.

11. Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation, compatibility with every device, delivery of every email, or that educational information will produce a particular result.

Individual experiences vary. References to traditional use, personal experience, or benefits reported by others do not guarantee the same outcome for you.

Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Healami, Marie Preston, and their service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive losses, or for lost profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or opportunity arising from use of or inability to use the Services.

Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability arising from a free newsletter or waitlist will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid for the relevant Service or the minimum amount required by applicable law. This limitation does not apply where liability cannot legally be limited, including certain liability for fraud, deliberate misconduct, death, personal injury, or mandatory consumer rights.

13. Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to be responsible for losses, claims, or reasonable costs arising from your unlawful use of the Services, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of another person’s rights. This provision does not require a consumer to indemnify us for our own unlawful conduct or where prohibited by applicable law.

14. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the Services or unsubscribe at any time. We may restrict or terminate access where reasonably necessary to address unlawful activity, abuse, security risks, infringement, or material violation of these Terms. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination, including intellectual property, disclaimers, liability limits, and dispute provisions, will remain effective.

15. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the jurisdiction where Healami is legally established, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, while preserving any mandatory consumer rights you have under the laws where you live.

Before starting formal proceedings, please contact [email protected] so we can try to resolve the issue informally. Any unresolved dispute may be brought before a court or consumer-resolution body with lawful jurisdiction. Nothing in these Terms prevents either party from seeking urgent protective relief or using a remedy that cannot lawfully be waived.

16. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms when our Services, offers, or legal obligations change. The updated Terms will be posted with a revised effective date. Material changes will receive additional notice where required. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance only to the extent permitted by law.

If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain effective. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. These Terms and any offer-specific terms constitute the agreement relating to the relevant Services.
